An adorable hidden gem
Nature Coast Botanical Garden is a small locally owned & managed garden in Spring Hill, Florida (north of Tampa). It is free to enter and has a variety of themed areas you can explore on your own. My personal favorite sections are the Asian garden and the small frog pond where I have taken many photos at. They are constantly rearranging the gardens which makes it fun, if you're a frequent visitor (like me hehe). It's a great place to take portraits or host small events. The garden also sells plants! The nursey is open on Monday's and Saturday's from 9am to 12pm; the money goes towards managing/upkeeping the beautiful garden for the local community.
This is one of my favorite places to escape to when visiting Florida. Sometimes, I just need to get away from all the people and relax in nature which can be hard in a state with a high population. I enjoy taking photos of the flowers at NCBG; they always have such a large variety. With how much they manage to pack into this tiny garden, you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into their work. I've been to quite a few gardens, and I have to say this is definitely my favorite one which is why I wanted to make a post about it. They deserve a spotlight and to get some more attention in order to keep funding the garden. I highly recommend you visit, if you're in the area!
